Pandemic Control Operations
April 19, 2021Tri-Forces and Police are conducting operations to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the island by untiringly engaging in identifying the virus hit patients and sending their close contacts for quarantine to the Tri-Forces managed quarantine centres established around the country.
According to Sri Lanka’s Epidemiology Unit statistics, 96,796 confirmed cases were reported up to 18 Apr, making it the total number of cases reported in the country. 93,113 patients have been recovered and the total number of deaths increased to 618 as of 18 April. The dotted blue curve on the graph below denotes the number of patients.
