South Sudan peacekeepers conducted a training exercise
April 23, 2021South Sudan based SRIMED Level II Hospital, managed largely by Sri Lanka Army contingent conducted a training exercise recently for management of critically ill patients.
The training exercise focused on preparations for Operational Readiness Assessment in the Level II hospital and rehearsed treatment for gunshot injuries to head, chest and abdomen on a peace-keeper, vomiting and other general emergencies.
All medical staff, including consultants, medical officers, nurses, paramedical staff and members of Aero Medical Evacuation Team took part in the exercise.
