Jaffna people supports Army to clear road sideways
April 30, 2021Jaffna residents actively extended their supportive hands to Sri Lanka Army while providing the services of backhoe loader vehicles in clearing the scrubs along roadways and collecting wastes from Thirunelveli to Navatkuli recently.
They cleared the scrub along roadways as precautionary measures against transmission of Dengue, Pollen Allergy infections and to prevent road accidents.
Troops were engaged in the civil community oriented 'Shramadana' for social security following the directives of Jaffna Security Forces Commander Maj. Gen. Priyantha Perera.
