SLN removes debris clogged in Gin Ganga
May 02, 2021Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) cleared the debris collected under the narrow Wakwella bridge of Gin Ganga, Galle yesterday (May 1) in a bid to restore the free water flow.
Debris got stuck under the bridge had prevented the gravity water flow.
Clogged area was cleared by deploying SLN divers, Rapid Action Boat Squadron and Marines of the Southern Naval Command, the SLN said.
