Anti-drugs Operations
May 03, 2021The Sri Lanka (SL) Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and Police Narcotic Bureau conducted anti-drugs operations last week and arrested a total of 45 persons, including drug peddlers, following effective interoperability among the security services and the Police.
Accordingly, 1 kilo 940 grams and 978 milligrams of Heroin, 29 grams and 320 milligrams of local Cannabis, 244 kilos 802 grams and 274 milligrams of Kerala Cannabis, 2 kilos and 0.800 grams of Ice, 2317.5 litres of Goda and 7500 litres of Kasippu were nabbed by the law enforcement authorities.
