May 09, 2021Initiating another social well being-oriented programme the Mullaithivu troops distributed 5,000 facemasks among the Nandikadal residents recently.
Accordingly, the Army troops operating under the 59 Division’s purview initiated the free distribution of facemasks along with an awareness programme on the avenues of deadly virus spread.
Troops educated the masses on the importance of wearing of facemasks, social distancing practices, healthcare guidelines and all other preventive measures during the process.
Healthcare measures were followed during the programme to contain the virus spread.
