A soldier renews South Asian High Jump record
May 12, 2021Sri Lanka Army's (SLA) Private Ushan Thiwanka Perera has set a new South Asian and Sri Lankan High Jump record at the 2021 Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held in Texas recently.
Setting the South Asian record with a jump of 2.30 metres, he has renewed not only his previous record but also the Sri Lankan national record, the SLA said.
