State Minister Wijewardene visits Royal Navy ship
April 03, 2019State Minister of Defence Hon. Ruwan Wijewardene made a visit to the Royal Navy ship HMS 'Montrose' at the Colombo harbor, today (03 April). The ship arrived in the island on a goodwill visit yesterday (02). The State Minister was received by the Commanding Officer of the ship, Commander Conor O'Neil upon his arrival to the ship.
During the visit the State Minister met with the ship's crew and also exchanged mementoes with the Commanding Officer to mark the occasion.
The British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and several senior Sri Lanka Navy officers were also present at the occasion.
