Army disinfects public places in Jaffna
May 14, 2021Sri Lanka Army (SLA) recently disinfected the public places in Jaffna in a bid to contain the spread of COVID-19 virus.
Accordingly, the central bus stand, railway station, public market, bazaar area, KKS road, Jaffna Teaching Hospital premises, playgrounds and government office compounds were disinfected and cleaned.
The programme was in place on the directives of Commander Security Forces-Jaffna, the SLA said.
