Royal Navy ship in the island
April 03, 2019Making a goodwill visit, the Royal Navy ship HMS 'Montrose' arrived in the island on Tuesday (02 April). According to Navy media, the visiting ship was accorded a traditional welcome upon her arrival at the Colombo harbor.
The 133m long 'Montrose' is a manned by a crew of 215. The crew of the ship is scheduled to take part in a number of programmes organized by the Sri Lanka Navy during their stay in the island.
The ship will leave the country on Wednesday (03 April).
