Anti-drugs Operations
May 17, 2021The Sri Lanka (SL) Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and Police Narcotic Bureau conducted anti-drugs operations last week and arrested a total of 40 persons, including drug peddlers, following effective interoperability among the security services and the Police.
Accordingly, 2 kilos 689 grams and 582 milligrams of Heroin, 19 kilos 190 grams and 625 milligrams of local Cannabis, 905 kilos and 439 grams of Kerala Cannabis, 14 grams and 10 milligrams of Ice,559.5 litres of Goda and 106.5 litres of Kasippu were nabbed by the law enforcement authorities.
