Disaster Management Operations
May 17, 2021The recent rapid change of weather conditions in the country leads to landslides, flooding, and disaster situation. This situation disturbs the livelihood of the public and Tri-Forces and Police immensely engage with Disaster Management Operations.
Strengthening flood relief measures, the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) has deployed more relief teams for Gampaha and Galle districts last week.
Further, SLN has deployed 15 relief teams in the areas which are susceptible to inundation in the districts of Gampaha, Kalutara, Galle and Matara on 15 May.
