President inspects ICC in Seeduwa
May 19, 2021HE the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday (May 18) inspected the country's biggest COVID-19 Intermediate Care Centre (ICC) constructed by the Sri Lanka Army in Seeduwa.
The Army said that the ICC is equipped with 1200 beds, emergency treatment unit, isolation sections, resuscitation units, ICU, medical stores and the generosity of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Brandix Group, Ashroff Omar has been instrumental in this noble cause.
Defence Secretary, Gen. Kamal Gunaratne (Retd), Health Secretary Maj. Gen. Sanjeewa Munasinghe, Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19, Chief of Defence Staff and Army Commander Gen. Shavendra Silva and Brandix Group CEO Ashroff Omar along with officials and guests joined the occasion.
