Disaster Management Operations
May 24, 2021The fire erupted on-board ‘X-PRESS PEARL’, was brought under control to a certain extent by a joint firefighting operation led by the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN), Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) and Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) last week.
Sri Lanka Army, Navy, Air Force and Police deployed relief teams in the areas which are susceptible to inundation in the few districts last week and Disaster Management Operations continue in vulnerable areas.
