May 31, 2021The Sri Lanka Navy refloated a defunct barge at the Kurikattuwan pier in Punkudutive Island last week (May 27).
The Road Development Authority operated barge which was one of the essential modes of goods and commuter transportation from Kurikattuwan pier to the Nainativu was not in service following being submerged partly.
