SLN donates blood
May 31, 2021The Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) conducted a blood donation campaign in Eastern Naval Command yesterday (30 May) with a view to replenish the blood supply during the prevailing pandemic situation in the island.
The programme was organized in coordination with Blood Banks following the directives of SLN Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) Chairperson Chandima Ulugetenne and held at its Preschool at SLNS ‘Tissa’, the SLN said.
The campaign was attended by 275 naval personnel in the Eastern Naval Command while strictly following the healthcare guidelines, the SLN also stated.
