SLN foiled illegal entry attempt of 40 Indian fishermen
May 31, 2021The Sri Lanka Navy’s (SLN) North Central Naval Command prevented 40 individuals aboard 04 fishing vessels from their attempt to enter into Sri Lankan waters in the seas north of Mannar on May 29.
Sri Lanka Navy has strengthened security in the island’s waters by increasing 24-hour patrols, as there is a risk of the surge in the transmission of COVID 19 pandemic in the country, the SLN said.
