Navy divers inspect X-PRESS PEARL for leaks
June 06, 2021A team comprising several senior diving officers of the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) conducted a special diving operation to inspect the hull area of the wreaked ship MV X-PRESS PEARL for fuel leakages today (June 6).
During the operation the SLN diving team inspected the fuel storage of the ship's submerged part, the SLN said.
The SLN source stated they will conduct another diving operation on June 7 in-order-to inspect the underwater profile and to investigate whether there is a fuel leakage from the ship into the sea.
