Pandemic Control Operations
June 07, 2021Tri-Forces and Police are conducting operations to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the island by untiringly engaging in identifying the virus hit patients and sending their close contacts for quarantine to the Tri-Forces managed quarantine centres established around the country.
According to Sri Lanka’s Epidemiology Unit statistics, 205353 confirmed cases were reported up to 06 June, making it the total number of cases reported in the country. 167304 patients were recovered and the total number of deaths increased to 1742 as of 06 June. The dotted blue curve on the graph below denotes the number of patients.
