Navy Commander appreciates the support of Indian Coast Guard Ships
June 11, 2021Navy Commander Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne was grateful to the Indian Coast Guard Ship ‘Samudra Prahari’, ‘Vajra’ and ‘Vaibhav’ for their supportive measures extended to douse the fire triggered onboard X-PRESS PEARL recently.
Navy Commander also presented Letters of Appreciation to the respective Commanding Officers of those ships in a simple ceremony organized at the port of Colombo yesterday (June 10).
High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka His Excellency Gopal Baglay, Indian Defence Attaché in Colombo Capt. Vikas Sood, senior Navy officers were also present.
