Army distributes dry rations and vegetable packs to needy homes
June 12, 2021Sri Lanka Army troops under the 59 Division of the Security Forces-Mullaitivu distributed vegetable packs among needy families in Alampil, Vidakarai, Kallapadu, Selvapuram, Wannikulam, Mulliyaweli and Wadduwakkal recently.
Meanwhile, troops of the 2 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry distributed dry ration packs and water bottles among needy families affected by floods in Wellampitiya, Kaduwela and Kelanimulla.
The Army stated that distributed items were sponsored by the donors with their coordination.
