SLN nabs 23 Kilos of Cannabis in Chilaw seas
June 20, 2021Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) nabbed 23 kilos and 100 grams of cannabis floating in the seas off Mukku Thoduwawa, Chilaw today (June 20).
The SLN’s Northwestern Command recovered the cannabis in 10 sacks, stuffed in a gunny adrift in seas.
Incidentally, the SLN recovered about 308 kilos of cannabis during operations in the seas off Chilaw on 18th, 19th and 20th of June, the SLN said.
The SLN and Chilaw Police are conducting further investigations to capture the culprits, the SLN also said.
