Pandemic Control Operations
June 21, 2021Tri-Forces and Police are conducting operations to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the island by untiringly engaging in identifying the virus hit patients and sending their close contacts for quarantine to the Tri-Forces managed quarantine centres established around the country.
According to Sri Lanka’s Epidemiology Unit statistics, 239689 confirmed cases were reported up to 20 June, making it the total number of cases reported in the country.
201389 patients were recovered and total number of 1st and 2nd dose vaccinated persons are 2472807 and 829116, respectively, as of 20 June. The dotted blue curve on the graph below denotes the number of patients.
