Army converts Convention Centre to an ICC
June 22, 2021Sri Lanka Army (SLA) converted the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre in Colombo to serve as an Intermediate Care Cantre (ICC) and handed it over to healthcare authorities recently.
This newly converted ICC which is also equipped with all medical amenities is capable of accommodating 300 patients.
SLA troops of 14 Vijayabhahu Infantry Regiment following instructions of 14 Division General Officer Commanding Maj. Gen. Sujeewa Senarath Yapa completed the project, the Army said.
