Service of SL troops in MINUSMA appreciated
June 23, 2021Sri Lanka Army Combat Convoy Company (SLACCC) Contingent received commendation from the MINUSMA Force Commander for the accomplishment of its Convoy Escort Operations and dedicated service to the United Nations while securing the lives of the civilians and vehicles.
The Army said the Force Commander Lt. Gen. Dennis Gyllensporre recently made a visit to the Camp and extended his appreciation to the SLA troops led by the Contingent Commander Lt. Col. Dinesh Bulathsinghala for executing the assigned tasks well amidst deteriorating security situation while moving through areas where the enemy is ever intensifying its all efforts to interfere with MINUSMA.
