Army facilitates a stock of provisions to Batticaloa Teaching Hospital
June 24, 2021Sri Lanka Army’s Security Force HQ-East facilitated Batticaloa Teaching Hospital in receiving a large stock of donations essentially required for smooth operation of the Hospital.
Accordingly, the Hospital received a PCR machine to conduct at least 1000 tests per day, technical accessories including computers, printers, power suppliers, smart phones, washing machine, medical equipment inclusive of Mini Centrifuge devices along with a stock of more essential items, the Army stated.
The Army sources said the state officials, organizations, entrepreneurs and businessmen in the area and overseas donors contributed in the worthy donations with the coordination of the Army.
Senior Army officers, Officials of religious and civil organizations also attended the formal handing over of the donations to the Hospital authorities at separate occasions.
