Army troops extinguish wildfire
June 29, 2021Sri Lanka Army troops extinguished a fast spreading wildfire in the Mahakudugala forest area in Nuwaraeliya District recently by swiftly responding to the information given by the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) officials.
The troops of 3 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), under guidelines given by 112 Brigade Commander brought the fire under control, the Army said.
