Another segment of land to be released in East
March 19, 2019Another segment of land used by the Army is to be released in the Eastern region. According to Army media, 5.05 acres in Thiriyaya, Periyanilaveli and Thirukkovil Grama Seva sectors in the Kuchchaveli, Kalmunai and Thirukkovil Divisional Secretariats will be handed back on Monday (25).
This segment of land release includes 3.5 acres of private land and the remaining belongs to the state.
The formal handing over of documents relating to the land release is scheduled to be held at the Ampara District Secretariat in the presence of religious leaders, Governor, senior state officials, Commander, Security Forces - East and land owners.
