Army troops initiate organic fertilizer production at Diyatalawa
July 04, 2021Sri Lanka Army troops of 1 Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) started an organic fertilizer production project in Diyatalawa recently under the guidance of Colonel Commandant SLAGSC Maj. Gen. Chandana Handunmulla.
The Army said the project plans to improve community awareness on the advantages of organic fertilizer while providing technical support to local farmers for production of their own organic fertilizer.
