Army troops cultivate turmeric
July 08, 2021Sri Lanka Army troops of 1 Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) in Kuttigala planted turmeric seeds in a five-acre land of the camp premises recently.
Troops launched the plantation process along with the consultation of the Ministry of Plantations, the Army said.
Commanding Officer of 1 SLAGSC carried out the project on the directives of Colonel Commandant, SLAGSC Maj. Gen. Chandana Hadunmulla.
