SLAF’s Sky Pet Animal Hospital now open for public
July 08, 2021Sky Pet Animal Hospital newly constructed by the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) was declared open by the First Lady Mrs. Ioma Rajapaksa recently at Guwanpura, Colombo 8.
The SLAF Commander Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana and members of the Air Force Board of Management have warmly received the First Lady, the SLAF said.
Mrs. Ioma Rajapaksa made the first registration of a pet and subsequently witnessed the facilities and services of the hospital.
The SLAF sources stated the Sky Pet Animal Hospital of the SLAF is an in-house solution specially developed to cater for the management of animal resources with special emphasis on Canines and Felines.
The special services provided by the Sky Pet Animal Hospital include treatment and care of SLAF’s special Air Dogs trained to detect dangerous and narcotic substances at airports.
