Pandemic Control Operations
July 12, 2021Tri-Forces and Police are conducting operations to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the island by untiringly engaging in identifying the virus hit patients and sending their close contacts for quarantine to the Tri-Forces managed quarantine centres established around the country.
According to Sri Lanka’s Epidemiology Unit statistics, 274538 confirmed cases were reported up to 11 July, making it the total number of cases reported in the country.
244437 patients were recovered and total numbers of 1st and 2nd dose vaccinated persons are 3907253 and 1423239, respectively, as of 11 July. The dotted blue curve on the graph below denotes the number of patients.
