Army raids Cannabis cultivation in Kuda Oya
July 14, 2021Sri Lanka Army (SLA) in a joint operation with Police raided an illegal cannabis cultivation in Kuda Oya, Kotiyakandura recently.
SLA’s 12 Division performing under the Security Force Headquarters - Central conducted the raid.
The Army said that the cultivation consisting of about 10,000 saplings were grown in two acres inside the dense jungle areas.
Kuda Oya Police are conducting investigations and pursuing legal action.
