SLN’s Olympic markswoman promoted
July 17, 2021Navy’s Leading Woman Communicator Tehani Egodawela, who has been qualified for Tokyo Olympics 2020 was promoted to the next rate of Petty Officer by the Navy Commander Nishantha Ulugetenne yesterday (Jul 16).
She also received a valuable financial reward from the Navy Chief during the session.
The event took place maintaining the bio-security protocols that she is undergoing within the bubble to avert COVID-19 contamination, as required by the regulations of the game, the SLN confirmed.
Vice Admiral Ulugetenne also extended his best wishes to Tehani Egodawela to perform well at the forthcoming Olympic Games.
