A needy family receives an Army-built new house in Kilinochchi
July 18, 2021Sri Lanka Army troops of the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi built a new house and vested in a needy family of Mrs. Sivasamy Muththu in Periyakulam, Vaddakachchi recently.
6 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) completed the project with its technical and manpower expertise while the sponsorship for raw materials were provided by a few philanthropists, the Army said.
The beneficiary was also gifted with household equipment, dry ration packs and fresh vegetables, sponsored by 6 SLSR troops.
Commander Security Forces - Kilinochchi, Maj. Gen. Harendra Ranasinghe, Officers and Other Ranks also attended the house warming ceremony adhering to COVID - 19 preventive measures.
