Trinco-based Army troops donate blood
July 25, 2021Sri Lanka Army troops in Trincomalee donated blood for needy patients at the Trincomalee Hospital recently.
The noble cause was conducted following a request made by the Trincomalee Regional Blood Centre, the Army said.
Accordingly, 6 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) conducted the blood donation campaign at their Headquarters in Pankulam
The 223 Brigade along with 6 SLAC troops donated blood to make the programme a success, the Army sources also said.
