Army initiative facilitates IT equipment donation to school
June 25, 2019Sri Lanka Army has facilitated the children studying at M/Paranagama Vidyalaya in Vavuniya to receive much needed IT equipment to their school. According to Army media, the IT equipment were gifted to the school by the Security Forces - Wanni (SFHQ-W) with financial assistance from the CSR project of the Seylan Bank.
The equipment including a new computer, multimedia projector with a screen and 6 uninterrupted power supply units were presented to the school during a simple ceremony, last Wednesday (19 June). The Bank had also presented the school with 15 computers during a previous occasion which was also facilitated by the Army, as a supportive measure to uplift the IT knowledge of the deserving children of this remote school
