SLAF completes building new ward complex at Mulleriyawa Hospital
August 04, 2021Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) completed the construction of a new Ward Complex at the Mulleriyawa Base Hospital and handed it over to the Health Minister Hon. Pavithradevi Wanniarachchi yesterday ( Aug 3).
The SLAF said the facility consists of five Wards for treatment of 160 patients and the accommodation facility for the serving medical staff.
The project which was estimated to complete in Rs. 200 million had utilized only Rs. 35 million saving a large chunk of money due to the dedication and commitment of the SLAF troops.
The occasion was attended by the SLAF Commander Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, Health Services Director General Dr. Asela Gunawardena, Director of the Colombo East Base Hospital in Mulleriyawa, the SLAF senior officers and troops involved in the construction project.
