Anti-drugs Operations
August 09, 2021The Sri Lanka (SL) Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and Police Narcotic Bureau conducted anti-drugs operations last week and arrested a total of 40 persons, including drug peddlers, following effective interoperability among the security services and the Police.
Accordingly, 87 kilos 841 grams and 295 milligrams of Heroin, 109 kilos 425 grams and 860 Kerala Cannabis, 35 kilos and 102 grams of local cannabis and 6 kilos 633 grams and 855 milligrams of Ice, 1093.5 litres of Goda and 75 litres of Kasippu were nabbed by the law enforcement authorities.
