Religious procession will arrive at Kurunduwatta Maha Viharaya today
August 19, 2021The religious procession carrying the ‘Sacred Pinnacle’ and the ‘Crest-Gem’ of Sandahiru Stupa commenced its journey from Aththanagalla Rajamaha Viharaya today morning (Aug 19) amidst religious blessings.
The motorcade carrying two revered articles is scheduled to travel via Urapola, Pugoda, Dompe, Hanwella, Padukka and Horana to reach the day’s destination at Kurunduwatta Maha Viharaya in the evening.
The parading of sacred articles would be presided over by Ven. Maha Sanga amidst the religious blessings throughout the exposition.
Police Divisions of the respective areas will control the traffic and strict healthcare measures will be in place during the programme.
