New Zealand HC meets Director General of SLCG
August 24, 2021The New Zealand High Commissioner (HC) to Sri Lanka His Excellency Michael Edward Appleton paid a courtesy call on the Director General of Sri Lanka Coast Guard Rear Admiral Anura Ekanayake recently, at the Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) Headquarters.
Both officials held a brief discussion on several matters of mutual interest and the cordial meeting culminated with an exchange of mementoes, the SLCG said.
The SLCG’s Regional Director - Western Region, Commander IHJ Buddika was also present at the occasion.
The event was held in keeping with the healthcare procedures to contain the spread of COVID-19, the news added.
