SLAF hands over another HHOT unit to Galgamuwa Ranaviru Upahara Base Hospital
August 29, 2021Continuing its social healthcare oriented work, the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) handed over another Heated Humidified Oxygen Therapy Unit (HHOT) to Ranaviru Upahara Base Hospital, Galgamuwa yesterday (Aug 28).
Acting Base Commander and Officer Commanding Personnel Services of SLAF Base Anuradhapura, Group Captain N Sapugastenna handed over the unit to the Consultant Physician Dr. Anuranga Senanayake during the session, the SLAF said.
According to Dr. Senanayake, this unit will be used at the Galgamuwa Ranaviru Upahara Base Hospital to treat patients contracted with COVID-19.
The event held adhering to the COVID-19 preventive healthcare guidelines was attended by a few SLAF members and the Galgamuwa Ranaviru Upahara Base Hospital staffers, the news added.
