Newly appointed Russian Defence Attaché calls on Defence Secretary
September 03, 2021Defence Attaché to the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka Col. Aleksei A.Bondarev, made a courtesy call on the Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) at the Defence Ministry complex today (Sep 3).
Russian Ambassador His Excellency Yuri Materiy introduced the newly appointed Defence Attaché to the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka, to the Defence Secretary.
During the occasion, the Defence Secretary congratulated the new Russian Defence Attaché Col. A.Bondarev and the delegation had a cordial discussion with the Defence Secretary on matters of bilateral importance and mutual relevance.
Military Liaison Officer of the Sri Lankan Defence Ministry Brig. Dinesh Nanayakkara and Military Attaché Assistant of the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka Col. Pavel V.Ivashinnikov were also present at the occasion.
