SLN donates blood to brace healthcare drive
September 06, 2021The Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) conducted a blood donation campaign at the Welisara Naval Complex recently responding to a request made by the Director, Blood Bank of Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital.
Following the directives of Navy Commander Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne, the blood donation campaign was held while joining hands with the National Blood Transfusion Service, the SLN said.
A large group of naval personnel volunteered to donate their blood while adhering to the healthcare guidelines.
