Army troops donate blood to save lives
September 08, 2021Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops donated blood to the Kandy Teaching Hospital Blood Bank yesterday (September 7) with a view to save lives of seriously ill patients.
More than 130 troops belonging to 11 Division of the Security Force HQ-Central contributed to the noble cause, the Army said.
General Officer Commanding, 11 Division Maj. Gen. Kithsiri Liyanage was present at the occasion.
