Pandemic Control Operations
September 13, 2021Tri-Forces and Police are conducting operations to contain the spread of Coronavirus in the island by untiringly engaging in identifying the virus hit patients and sending their close contacts for quarantine to the Tri-Forces managed quarantine centres established around the country.
According to Sri Lanka’s Epidemiology Unit statistics, 485,922 confirmed cases were reported up to 13 September, making it the total number of cases reported in the country and 414,295 patients were recovered.
The total number of persons vaccinated with 1st and 2nd dose remains at 13,497,826 and 10,579,220 respectively, as of 13 August. The dotted blue curve on the graph below denotes the number of patients.
