Arrested Arms and Ammunitions
September 13, 2021The Sri Lanka (SL) Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and STF were on alert on illegal weapons and ammunition during the past week. Operations in search of illegal firearms were underway in keeping with the government's vision to curb underworld activities.
Accordingly, 15 locally manufactured weapons, 01 illegally smuggled weapon, 08 weapon accessories, 51 bombs and 14 ammunitions have been nabbed and arrested a total of 10 persons.
