Army doused bushfires in Kumbukkana and Welimada areas
September 14, 2021Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops controlled a sudden bush fire that erupted in the forest areas of Degalaraba Kanda and Mahagodayaya in Degalaraba Forest Reserve in Kumbukkana in Monaragala District recently.
Troops of the 121 Brigade attended the task under the supervision of 121 Brigade Commander, the SLA said.
Meanwhile, a bush-fire erupted at Rohal Kanda in Pahalagama Kotawara, in Welimada was also doused by the troops under command to 121 Brigade on the same day, the SLA also confirmed.
