Army completes Poddenikanda Maha Vidyalaya development
September 14, 2021Sri Lanka Army (SLA) completed the renovation and repairs of the school playground at Poddenikanda Maha Vidyalaya, Malimboda, Yatiyantota and its C.W.W Kannangara Auditorium recently.
The projects were initiated following the Presidential directives during the 'Gama Samaga Pilisandarak' programme conducted at Dikkellakanda village, the Army sources stated.
1 Field Engineer Regiment troops together with 12 Corps of Engineer Service Regiment completed the projects as per the directions given by the Chief of Defence Staff and Army Commander, Gen. Shavendra Silva, the SLA said.
