KDU signs an industrial collaboration agreement
September 23, 2021General Sir John Kothalawala Defence University (KDU) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Orel Corporation (Pvt) Ltd yesterday (Sep 22) with a view of establishing closer cooperation with local industries and securing more training opportunities for its undergraduates.
The MOU was signed by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Defence & Admin) Brig. W Chandrasiri on behalf of KDU and Head of Sales – Projects Mr. Dhammika Deshapriya representing Orel Corporation (Pvt) Ltd, the KDU said.
Reportedly. the intention of this University-Industry Collaboration is to engage in mutually beneficial activities such as talent acquisition, internship opportunities and knowledge sharing, mutual consultations and engage in innovations and invention.
